Rostou bu\u010f epifitn\u011b (na jin\u00fdch rostlin\u00e1ch &#8211; stromech), nebo na p\u016fd\u011b (sm\u011bs ra\u0161eliny), nebo jako li\u00e1ny, kter\u00e9 jsou v extr\u00e9mech velk\u00e9 a\u017e asi 30m. List je \u010dlen\u011bn t\u0159emi viditeln\u011b rozli\u0161iteln\u00fdmi \u010d\u00e1stmi:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>1) <strong>asimina\u010dn\u00ed plocha<\/strong> (\u010depel listu)<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>2) <strong>\u00faponka<\/strong> (prodlou\u017een\u00fd \u0159ap\u00edk)<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>3) <strong>l\u00e1\u010dka<\/strong> (konvicov\u00e1 past).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Pasti:<\/strong> l\u00e1\u010dkovky maj\u00ed past &#8222;gravita\u010dn\u00edho&#8220; typu, co\u017e znamen\u00e1, \u017ee kdy\u017e p\u0159ilet\u00ed hmyz, v\u00e1ben na sladk\u00fd nektar na ob\u00fast\u00edm, za\u010dne se propadat do nitra l\u00e1\u010dky. Ka\u017ed\u00fd pokus o vyv\u00e1znut\u00ed skon\u010d\u00ed v\u011bt\u0161inou ne\u00fasp\u011bchem. L\u00e1\u010dky m\u00edvaj\u00ed konvicovit\u00fd tvar, velikost b\u00fdv\u00e1 od n\u011bkolika centimetr\u016f (nap\u0159.: <em>N. anamensis<\/em> [Thajsko, Kambod\u017ea] m\u00edv\u00e1 zpravidla l\u00e1\u010dky maxim\u00e1ln\u011b 10 &#8211; 12 cm dlouh\u00e9), a\u017e po doslova ob\u0159\u00ed pasti (nap\u0159.: <em>N. truncata<\/em> [Filip\u00edny] m\u00edv\u00e1 opravdu ob\u0159\u00ed l\u00e1\u010dky, klidn\u011b i &lt; 50 cm) , kter\u00e9 maj\u00ed na v\u00fd\u0161ku kolem p\u016fl metru (hlavn\u011b v p\u0159\u00edrod\u011b). Pasti jsou asi do 1\/3 napln\u00e9 silnou tr\u00e1v\u00edc\u00ed tekutinou, kter\u00e1 dok\u00e1\u017ee skoro na kost roztr\u00e1vit i men\u0161\u00ed obratlovce (nap\u0159\u00edklad my\u0161 nebo pt\u00e1ci).
